About my Counselling Approach
Professional counselling is about understanding what is happening to you or happened to you in the past and finding strategies and tools for making this better, safer, easier, happier or at a place of calm for you.
I am a person who cares about the wellbeing of people and how we develop across the life span. I believe that we all have strengths and skills within us and the capacity for creating change toward improved living. I see the potential in others and assist them to work through challenges and difficulties toward a desired outcome.
I have worked with people of all ages from young adults to the elderly. My career has included work with children, adolescents and parents in the health setting supporting difficult health journeys, grief and loss. I have expertise in child and adolescent development and behaviour. I am experienced with working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and life experience and love that my work is filled with this rich variation.
I invite you to contact me.
